Workshops


7th Workshop

The 7th I3E Workshop was successfully organised by ISI and UOP on January 13th-14th, 2012, in Patras, Greece. The two-day event was entitled as "Innovation in the time of Crisis". During the first day, representatives from academia, research institutes, regional administration and industry touched serveral subjects concerning innovation including support policies and tools, clusters, open and closed innovation, entepreunship etc. The day ended with a round table discussion. On the second day, the participants visited the Corallia Patras InnoHub and companies at Patras Science Park and Patras Industrial Zone.

6th Workshop

On October 19-20, 2011, our Serbian partner UOK, organised successfully the Serbian workshop, which was entitled as "Promoting Research and Innovation for Competitiveness". The two-day event gave the opportunity to various stakeholders to express their views and vision on various subjects concerning innovation. At the end of each day, a brokerage event aiming at fostering collaborations between representatives from research institutes, academia, and industry took place.

5th Workshop

The Italian Workshop, which was successfully organised by our Italian partner IEA, took place in Matera, Italy on June 25th, 2011. Several aspects of innovation , such as management practices, regional policies, funding schemes, and successful aproaches, were presented by the speakers.

4th Workshop

The Austrian Workshop, entitled as "I3E Hightech days" and organised by OEAW and ecoplus, took place in Vienna, Austria on May 23-24, 2011. A press release was issued after the successful organization of the event.

3rd Workshop

The Romanian workshop took place on April 15th, 2011 at the premises of Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Representatives from institutes, organisations and companies expressed their views on several aspects concerning innovation.

2nd Workshop

The Bulgarian Workshop organised in Sofia on February 17-18, 2011 was quite successful with representatives not only from the project partners but also from Albania, FYROM, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina and Turkey that provided their vision of the Embedded Systems and Industrial Informatics Sectors and contributed to overall discussion of I3E.

1st Workshop

The first workshop on presentation of the current results of the project "I3E-Promoting Innovation in the Industrial Informatics and Embedded Systems Sectors through Networking" was organised as a Session 2 of the 3rd international “Technology Transfer Conference” held on 7th and 8th October, 2010 at Jozef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
